These terms apply when you use the Paint Store mobile apps and website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy and Disclaimer.
The service
Paint Store helps you explore paint colours, brands, room previews and a directory of painters and shops. We are an independent service. We are not a paint manufacturer and we are not the seller of every product shown.
Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or use the service with a parent or guardian.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, misuse the service, or create risk for other users.
Closing or deleting your account
Customers may delete their account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete account (password required). Deletion signs you out everywhere and removes or anonymises your personal details so the account cannot be used again. You may also request deletion without the app via our Delete account page.
Contractor, business or admin accounts are managed separately; contact us to close them.
We may keep limited records where the law requires it (for example invoices or security logs), as explained in the privacy policy.
Colours, previews and products
Colours on screen are a guide only and can look different on walls depending on lighting, surface, finish and your display. Similar shades and match percentages are our estimates, not manufacturer-certified equivalents. Always check a physical shade card or a test patch before you buy. Room previews are illustrative.
Orders and payments
Where ordering or payment features are offered, prices, availability and offers can change. An order is confirmed only when we or the store accept it. Delivery, return and refund details are shown before you place an order.
Painters and shops
Painters and shops listed in the app are independent businesses. We review profiles before listing them, but we do not guarantee their work, products, prices or conduct. Quotes, payments and contracts are between you and them.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service — for example by posting false information, trying to access other accounts, scraping data at scale, or disrupting the app or servers.
Intellectual property
Brand names, logos, colour names and shade codes belong to their owners. App content we create belongs to Paint Store. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial browsing as intended.
Disclaimer of warranties and liability
The service is provided as is, to the extent permitted by law. See our Disclaimer for important limits on affiliation, colour accuracy and third-party listings. We are not responsible for loss arising from reliance on colours or from dealings with painters or shops.
App stores
Your use of the apps downloaded from Google Play or the Apple App Store is also subject to those stores’ terms. Account deletion and privacy disclosures required by those stores are described in our privacy policy and on the delete-account page.
